Broner became a professional boxer in 2008 after an impressive record of 300 wins and 19 losses as an amateur. In that year, he beat Allante Davis, David Warren Huffman, and Ramon Flores all in the first round. Around the end of the year, he didn’t lose a single match.
It wasn’t as easy for him in 2009. He fought people like Jose Alfredo Lugo and Erick Ricker. In that same year, he also beat Angel Rodriguez by knockout in the fourth round.
