Gujarat NMMS 2023 refers to the National Means Cum Merit Gujarat NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023, which is held annually by the Directorate of Education, Delhi’s Science Branch. November is the prospective date for this examination.

Gujarati eighth-graders may apply for National Merit Scholarships by taking the Gujarat NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023. The Gujarat State Examination Board is hosting the stage 1 state-level NMMS test. SEB will administer the NMMS Gujarat throughout the State each year.
Students from the Gujarat state government, govt-aided, and local body schools may take the NMMS exam, which consists of the MAT and SAT exams if they have the necessary marks and parental income of up to Rs 3.5 lakh. A chosen set of Gujarati students will receive Rs 12,000 in annual scholarships as a result of their performance on the Gujarat NMMS Scholarship Exam 2023.

About Gujarat NMMS Scholarship Exam
The NMMS Scheme is a federally funded initiative that seeks to assist financially disadvantaged eighth graders attending grant-in-aid or government schools so they can complete their education through the 12th grade. For each chosen student, a remuneration of Rs 12,000 is given annually. The exams will be administered in December or January.
The National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship examinations registration opened on October 11, according to the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). The last day to submit applications is November 5. While SC and ST students must pay Rs 50 for exam fees, OBC, and general category students must pay Rs 75 to apply.
