Delhi Police Recruitment 2023- Eligibility Criteria
For the candidate to be qualified for the Delhi Police Constable 2023 Exam, he or she must meet the following four requirements:
1) Nationality or citizenship
The candidates must be citizens of India.
2) Education Qualifications
The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from an approved school board by the time online applications are due.
Relaxed up to 11th pass only for:-
- Only band members, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, delivery riders, etc. of the Delhi Police.
- Sons of police officers who are still working, have died, or have retired, including MultiTasking Staff of Delhi Police.
3) Age Limit
The candidate must be 18 to 25 years old. The above-stated upper age limit can be changed only in the following situations: –
(i) Up to a maximum of five years for a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe group candidate.
(ii) Up to a maximum of 3 years for OBC group candidates.
iii) Up to a maximum of 5 years for distinguished sportsmen who have served a State at the National level or the Country at the International level in sports in the three years before the date online applications are due.
iv) The upper age limit can be raised up to 40 years for the general category (UR), 43 years for OBC, and 45 years for SCs/STs in the case of departmental candidates of Delhi Police.
v) The upper age limit can be lowered up to 29 years for the sons of active, retired, or deceased police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.
4) Important Requirement
Candidate must have a valid driving license for LMV (motorcycle or car) as of the date of PE&MT for the job of Const. (Exe.) Male in the Delhi Police. A learner’s permit is not allowed.

Delhi Police Constable Exam Pattern for 2023
The exam will be done by the Delhi Police (DP) on an all-India basis using a computer-based test. The online Computer Based Test will be given in both HINDI and ENGLISH.
1. The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will have one objective-type paper with 100 questions worth 100 points, and the total time allowed for an Online Computer-Based Test is one and a half hours (90 minutes).
2. You will lose 0.25 points for each bad answer.
3. The paper’s questions should be at the “Matriculation Level,” with 30% easy questions, 50% medium-level questions, and 20% hard questions.
4. Candidates in the General Category who get 35% marks in the Computer Based Examination, SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates who get 30% marks, and Ex-servicemen who get 25% marks in the Computer Based Examination as a whole will be considered suitable for short-listing the candidates in each category to appear in the Physical Test.
