Valerie Bertinelli’s Career
Bertinelli tried her best to make the change from being a teen actor to an adult in Hollywood after the success of One Day at a Time. In her first few attempts, she only got a little attention, starring in some made-for-TV movies and making guest appearances.
She looked like she would be successful again when she was cast in two comedies in the 1990s: Sydney, with Matthew Perry and Craig Bierko; and Café Americain. However, neither of them lasted long.
