Candidates will need an in-depth familiarity with the HPSCB Assistant Manager Exam Pattern in order to formulate an effective exam strategy. The online test consists of two sections:
1) Initiation of Research
2) The Main Test

1) Preliminary Examination
In order to advance to the Main Examination, candidates must first pass the HPSCB Preliminary Exams.
The Objective-Type MCQs form the basis of the Preliminary Examination.
Both English and Hindi will be used, with the exception of the section specifically devoted to the English language.
The Fundamentals Test consists of 100 total questions. Each accurate response earns a single point.
2) Mains Examination
The Mains Exam for HPSCB is the second and arguably most important part of the selection procedure.
Both English and Hindi will be used, with the exception of the section specifically devoted to the English language.
There are 200 total questions on the Main Exam. Each accurate response earns a single point.
3) Interview
The final step of the selection process is the interview. After the online Phase II (Mains Examination) and following Interview, a final merit list will be compiled from which the successful applicants will be selected. At the time of the Interview, all required Board/University documents will be verified.
