Denny Laine is an English drummer, singer, and songwriter who is best known for starting two big rock bands: The Moody Blues (from 1964 to 1966) and Wings (from 1971 to 1981). Laine has worked with many singers and groups over the course of six decades, and he still records and performs as a solo artist. Laine was added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 as a part of The Moody Blues.

Denny Laine has been having a lot of health problems lately because of his fight with COVID-19 in March 2022. He initially got better in five days, but since then, complications have caused a number of health problems, such as a collapsed lung that needed surgery to place a chest tube. He has also been dealing with a blood infection caused by germs.
Even though Laine’s health is getting better, he has a lot of medical bills, which are made worse by the fact that he doesn’t have health insurance as many artists do. Even though he wants to play the guitar again, he is still recovering, and his mood has improved since he was recently released from NCH Baker Hospital in Naples.

Denny Laine Career
The length of Denny Laine’s music career is amazing. It began in 1957 and is still going strong today. As a solo act, he began when he was 12 years old, leading “Denny Laine and the Diplomats.” He sang on The Moody Blues’ hit song “Go Now” from 1964 to 1966, which is something that stands out about him.
Now he has his own band called Electric String Band and has played with bands like Balls and Air Force. But he was best known for being the lead and main guitarist for Paul McCartney’s band Wings from 1971 to 1981. Laine has also put out two albums by himself, and he is still recording and playing.

Solo Career
Denny Laine playing at the Cavern Club in 2008 In 1982, Laine released a new record called Anyone Can Fly after leaving Wings and signing with Scratch Records. Additionally, he contributed to McCartney’s albums Tug of War and Pipes of Peace, and they wrote the song “Rainclouds,” which was the B-side of the No. 1 hit “Ebony and Ivory.”
Throughout the 1980s, Laine kept putting out solo records like Hometown Girls, Wings on My Feet, Lonely Road, and Master Suite. He produced two albums in 1996: Reborn and Wings at the Sound of Denny Laine, which was a collection of new versions of Wings songs.
His tour with the rock band World Classic Rockers lasted from 1997 to 2002. Following his departure from the World Classic Rockers, he currently plays with The Denny Laine Band and sometimes works with other bands.
The Blue Musician, De Laine’s most recent solo record, came out in 2008. In addition, he wrote a show called Arctic Song. His 2018 performance was with the 9-piece band Turkuaz, playing Wings songs. Including Ahh Laine, he has been in three fanzines.
In January 2023, Laine confirmed US tour plans that included stops in New York and Nashville and said he was working on new album songs. Dennis is still on tour in 2023. He is currently planning a show for this fall in Tennessee.
