SSC Stenographer 2023 Application Fee
For both General and OBC, the application fee for SSC Stenographer 2023 is Rs. 100/-. The SSC Stenographer 2023 application fee is waived for candidates in the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen categories, as well as for female candidates.

Photograph: A candidate’s picture must be taken against a white or light-colored background. The size of the file must be between 4 kb and 12 kb. The width and height of the photo’s resolution must be 100*120 pixels.
name: The candidate’s name must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet of paper. The copied copy of the signature that needs to be sent in should be in jpg format and should be between 1 kb and 12 kb in size. The width and height of the picture should be 40*60 pixels.
Step 7: Sign in with your ID and password to fill out Part II of the SSC Stenographer 2023 application form.

What You Need to Know to Become an SSC Stenographer
A candidate must have at least a 12th-grade diploma from an approved Board or University. After passing the SSC Stenographer 2023 Exam, he or she must be able to show the needed documents when asked to do so.
Age Limit for SSC Stenographers
SSC Stenographer Grade C: To take the SSC Stenographer Grade C Exam in 2023, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30. Those who were born between August 2, 1993, and August 1, 2005, are qualified to apply. Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2005, to be qualified.
SSC Stenographer Grade D: A candidate for the SSC Stenographer 2023 Grade D Exam must be between the ages of 18 and 27.

There will be two different levels of the SSC Stenographer 2023 test. The first level is a multiple-choice test for Grades C and D, which is done online. After this test, SSC will give you another test to see how skilled you are in different areas.

a) The question paper will be a multiple-choice objective type. Except for Part III, questions will be given in both Hindi and English.
For every bad answer, you will lose one-third of a point. So, candidates should keep this in mind when answering the question.
If the Computer-Based Examinations are given in more than one shift, the candidates’ scores will be averaged, and the averaged scores will be used to decide the final rank.
b) Test of Stenography Skills
Those who pass the Exam with the minimum score set by the Commission will be invited to take the Skill Test. The commission could also set minimum scores for each part of the Exam. The Skill Test will be a qualifying test, and the Commission will decide what the qualifying standards are for each type of individual.
The candidates will have to take the Stenography Skill Test. The candidates will be given one 10-minute transcription in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The information will need to be typed up on a computer.
