Is There a Black Mirror Season 7 Release Date?
There isn’t a set date yet for when Season 7 of Black Mirror will come out. Is Black Mirror Season 7 Happening?
Yes, Season 7 of Black Mirror is being made on Netflix. Variety recently said that a seventh season is being planned, which is how we know this. Netflix has been canceling a lot of shows lately. Shows like Lockwood and Co. and Shadow and Bone are just two examples. But Black Mirror had a much higher viewership rate. According to Nielsen, Season 6 launched at the top of Netflix’s list with over 1.356 billion minutes watched.
Black Mirror Season 7: What Would the Next Season Be About?
The next season will probably keep its own style of anthology shows that look at the good and bad of different sci-fi and supernatural ideas.
Brooker recently said that he thinks future seasons of Black Mirror could be about anything. He told Tudum, “I’ve always thought that Black Mirror should have stories that are completely different from each other and keep shocking people, including myself. Otherwise, what’s the point?” The series shouldn’t be easy to describe and should be able to keep changing.
There were more magical and mysterious elements in Season 6 than in any other season. It’s possible that a new season would continue in this direction.
Brooker also told Digital Spy that he would love to work in animation for whatever comes next. He said, “I’ve never done a musical or an animated piece.” “In fact, USS Callister was born when I was thinking of a story for a show. It turned into USS Callister in a strange way.” That is, you aim for something and then go off in a different direction.
“Once more, all bets are off, because this season has some that are straight-up scary, some that are retro-futuristic, and some that are just outrageously funny.” That’s a good mix. I don’t know. Anything at all. Anything for blood!”
