Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Recap: The Story So Far
So far, we have seen Master Tengen hire Gojo and Geto, who were then second-year students, to guard his Plasma Star Vessel, a girl named Riko. That turns out to be harder than it sounds because the Q group and the Time Vessel Association are looking for Riko. At the end of the first show, Riko hires Toji Fushiguto to kill her.
In the second episode, Gojo and Geto “meet” Riko for real, but Riko decides not to go to Jujutsu High for safety. Toji puts a price on Riko’s head, and after Geto fights off curse users, the Star Vessel gets a text message that Kuroi, Riko’s maid, has been taken.
In the third episode, Gojo and Geto took the fight to the Time Vessel Association, which raised the stakes even more. Later, Toji fights Gojo at Jujutsu High. After the fight, Gojo finds out that Toji was born with a Heavenly Restriction. In short, he’s very strong. Toji shows how strong he is by killing Gojo, or so it seems.
On the way back to Tengen, Riko talks with her friends about whether or not she wants to be integrated. Just as she is about to reach out to Geto, Toji shoots and kills her.
Goto fights back against Toji, but Toji beats him in the end after trying and failing to take his evil spirit. Gojo fights Toji with the Hollow Purple attack after using the Reverse Cursed method to heal himself. He kills Toji by destroying one side of his body with his new, flashy ability.
Toji tells Gojo as he is about to die that his son will be sold to the Zenin Clan. Geto and Gojo meet up at a Time Vessel Association church at the end of the fifth episode. There, they talk about whether or not to kill the followers.
The Hidden Inventory prequel arc came to an end when there was a one-year time jump and Geto did some bad things, like killing everyone in a town. After being ordered to death, he is met by his old friend Gojo, who cannot fight him. Geto is then made the new boss of the Star Religious Group. At the end of the show, Gojo wakes up in the present, surrounded by Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi, whom we already know.
