The CW’s Superman and Lois is a huge hit. The network’s Arrowverse gave rise to the DC TV show, which has been a huge hit since its premiere in 2021. This show is about Clark Kent and Lois Lane, played by Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. They are superheroes in Smallville, but they also have to take care of their family, save the world, and be parents.
There will be a fourth season of the show, which ended in June after the third season. The CW picked it up for a fourth season earlier this summer, after months of not knowing what would happen with it. Nexstar, which bought the network, wanted cheaper shows, and Superman and Lois’ high price put it at risk. Warner Bros. promised to keep it on the air, which helped, and the show was a hit.
Superman and Lois Season 4 Release Date Rumors
Season 4 of Superman and Lois will start on The CW in 2024, but there isn’t a set date for when it will air.
Before officially renewing the show for a fourth season, The CW announced its fall schedule. This meant that it would run in the spring since it has always started in the spring or summer. Still, it might be a lot later than planned because of the WGA and SAG strikes going on in Hollywood.
Superman and Lois Season 4 Cast
The CW picked up Superman and Lois for a fourth season, but with some big rules. One of those conditions meant that the main group had to be cut down a lot.
There will be five people in the cast for season 4, up from four for season 3. Michael Cudlitz, who played Lex Luthor in the last two episodes of season 3, will join the group full-time.

Superman & Lois Season 4 Story
The story of Superman and Lois season 4 hasn’t been talked about much except that Lex Luthor will be the main bad guy. Luthor was first seen in the second-to-last episode of Superman and Lois’s third season, right after getting out of jail. He was played by Michael Cudlitz.
Luthor wasn’t thankful that Lois Lane showed he was set up; all he cared about was how Lois’s reporting had hurt his image years before. He told Lois that he didn’t want her to write ever again, implying that he would use violence if she didn’t give up writing on her own. Luthor also told Lois to let Superman know that he was coming next.
At the end of the show, Lex was looking for the Bizarro Superman that Bruno Mannheim had resurrected and set free. It was clear that Lex planned to use the zombie-like double as part of his plan to get back at Superman.
It’s not clear if he will use the evil copy against Superman or try to blame him for a crime. Brad Schwartz, president of The CW, said that season 3 of Superman and Lois would end on “a bit of a cliffhanger,” which has fans eagerly waiting for season 4.

When Will Superman & Lois Season 4 Premiere?
Many people can now watch Season 3 of Superman & Lois on Max, but the show’s immediate future is in danger because stars and writers are on strike to protect their jobs. Unfortunately, Season 4 is still in its early stages, so work has been put on hold until the writers can get back together after the strike is over.
At this point, it doesn’t look like either strike will end any time soon, so fans shouldn’t get too excited about Superman and Lois season 4 coming back until the spring of 2024.
Fans are already getting worried about other characters in the DC Universe, so Superman & Lois is sure to be one that people are keeping an eye on as the strikes go on.
